NERYS SIAN EVANS BA (HONS) MA Personal statement My Passion for film is what drives me, I love everything about the whole film process from making movies to watching movies. I like to get really stuck in and take a project head on giving a radical & fresh style in my Directing. I enjoy trying new approaches to film making. I Work mainly in Fiction but I have also directed two documentary’s. I have a few Features and shorts in the development process, as I also write. However I am always looking for exciting new writers with good scripts to get involved with. One of my more recent films was at Cannes Film Festival in May, in the short film corner. I’m always trying different techniques out. I enjoy working in a demanding and fast paced environment and the challenges that come with it. My main line of work is in fictional film making, although I have also written and directed some shorts for Radio. Last May I was at the Cannes Film Festival Promoting our recently made short film & Pitching some new exciting projects we have been working on at Mafod.
